When I first saw it I was shocked!!! But all the Japanese have isdn telephone lines as standard... no analog crap like in good old blighty.... I think the standard adsl connection is 2mb here and that will set you back about 12 quid... I really can't wait!!

You were doing well in making me jealous, until I read that, surely they have laws in Japan against it? :tongue

You lot obviously haven't heard of V-DSL then (56mbps downstream)
Understeer is when you hit a wall with the front of your car
Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the back of your car
Horsepower is how fast your car hits the wall
Torque is how far your car sends the wall across the field once you've hit it

Its no wonder because they can update all thier lines every couple of years due to the earthquake damages .

It's not 15 quid for every melon dumb ass.... Melons start from 3 quid... if you want designer melons they cost a lot more.. As for beer.... wrong again a can of beer can set you back the costly sum of 80 pence.... ohhh killer! If you want to drink import beer that will cost more... Heineken will cost you 2 quid for a small can.

As for V-DSL, (Very-High-Data-Rate Digital Subscriber Line) your right I’ve never heard of it before... I don't think Joe public has either... so what are the chances of me getting it for home use at 30 quid a month? .... Me thinks, not likely.

Your absolutely right, I doubt that you will get V-DSL for £30 per month (not at 56mpbs anyway), then again I challenge you to find a site that will let you exploit your 25mbps to it's full extent (even MS put a speed limit on downloads).

theres nothing wrong with having lots of downloads going, I'd max out my 2mbit connection no problem with kazaa by just downloading everything at once. I found running out of disc space became the bigger problem
