M-reg 1.7TD Vectra

My m8 has a vectra 1.7 turbo diesal, it over heating, weve looked at all the usual stuff (flushed the radiator, new water pump, head gasket+ a head skim since it was warrped) we even tryed having both fans wire on constant.. And the fans keeps it cool while standing still but it still overheats while driving...
Anyone any ideas (we dont really work on vauxhalls much)???

Also the rev counter shoots upto 5k at idle (it aint idling any higher than normal), it has alwys done this... Any ideas about this????

And the car is DEFFO overheating not just the gauge tellin us that...

any bubbles in header tank?
last one i had to do the head had an internal crack this is quite commom

Hi,when car is running,check the radiator is hot from top to bottom,i know you have flushed it but i have had blocked rads before that give this fault,I hope you had the head crack tested when you had it skimmend?? Also check the leak off pipe to the header tank,the small bore one,if this is blocked the system air locks and stops circulation.Good luck!!

Ive just had the same fault on my mates astra td and a new radiator sorted it.
Might not be the cause in your case m8 , but definately worth a closer inspection.
