    Default xbox crashing problems

a couple of my boxes are getting erratic crashing errors.

most notably both of them can't play simpsons it crashes when u go to start a new game. Also noticed random crashing and hanging in tiger2K4.

my other boxes are fine, there all fitted with same drives same xecuter 2.1 same bios and same evox.

Whats the likely candidate of these odd crashes?

    I was thinking evox?

    Default

    disable IGR in evox
    disable rdtools option in evox
use x2 4977 or 4978.03 as your bios
check your fan is working correctly

is there somewhere that tells you what all these bios upgrades have fixed?

I can't find 4978.03 I can only find 4977.02 is there something wrong with that compared to 4977 ?

4978.03 has an alpha ftp included.
If you go to xbins Im sure all the bios there have readme infos with them so you can see the changes etc.
