All the diagrams and a step by step tutorial can be found at http://www.helpfiles.co.uk (choose all topics then digital cable). For the Jerrold boxes look in the Analogue part of the tutorials M8

Rejoin the link you cut and see if the box goes back to how it was before.

i take it , u have zapped it with the bar code on bottom of box before chipping it.? or am i wrong because of the hex used now?.. i still use old hex from years ago.

if not then join track up and zap it, with TCINIT.. then replace chip..

When you plug in power supply does the box automatically go to channel 02 ?.
Also if you box has a tin box on the back of it (where the cable input and tv out are) held on by 2 screws try removing it and just connect the leads straight to the box it has worked for me in the past.

to be honest m8 ive never used superchip3, i zap my box with a gizmo(cube) i bought years ago and im still burning the old hex to the chips, a hex i downloaded a time ago, i dont adujust any of the hex , same hex for all box's ..drive up here with it and ill sort it for you..

Don't give up just yet m8 have you tried retuning you tv??? I ask as i had a coupleof old analogue boxes that used to jump frequencies after they were rebooted. For instance if they were on 55 they would jump to 33 and vise versa. Hope this helps.
