Humax 5400

Hi all. After searching the forum and doing a good search of the web, I am still struggling a bit.
I managed to upload the ToH3.1 last night after 3 nights of concern, just incase I cocked something up. Still very new to the digital sat scene.
Would there be any point in updating the hardware/software version. Currently it is as follows:
hardware version: Oak I&II 2.1
software version:HIC1.05.00+
device driver version: HIC1.05.00+
s/w last update: 4 Mar 2002
loader version: H2.08
system ID: 0016.600

Managed to upgrade the ToH with Humax uploader V1.5, this "sees" the .hdf files, but there are other files like .hnf files.
Do I need a different uploader for the .hnf files?

Last question, would I benefit by uploading the Xamuh 68.5east-58west file, as I can see all this area of the sky, but not sure if my Manhatten HH100 mount would cover all that.

To upload .hnf files they are the sat settings for positions and progs, you would need something like Humbox 4.1 you can edit you progs and upload with it.

As far as the settings themselves go you will benefit assuming you have a big enough dish to pick up all those sats, but at least the actual frequencies and pid's will all be uptodate for the progs you can get
