    Default GC backups

    Hey folks!

I guess this topic hasn't been discussed so often because no one actually knows how to make backups of GC discs.

What chances do you see that some day RARE or STARCUBE will break their silence and let us all know how to get ahold of the data on the discs?

Do you think it's the same way we use to get the data off the XBOX discs using the machines own disc drive and the network device?

Looking through nforce's Gamecube section, I don't see that many releases which leads me to the point that backing up GC discs is not as easy as I bet we all would like it to be

I think this will be pretty quiet until a better method of playing them is found or made public.

I think Novecento was actually after copying a gamecube disk using a pc, not just extracting the files from a .GCM image which someone else has already created (?)
