That is who i am with (plus.net) great ISP I got to say. They are doing promo deals all the time. I'm just waiting for them to wave the upgrade fee to 1meg or 2meg and then I will upgrade as I really don't have much need to upgrade at the moment...but the higher download speed wouldn't go amiss ; -)

Think you will find [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] is the best site.

I have used lots of sites but I have found adslguide to be the best all round site

    Have fun,

[Only registered and activated users can see links. ] is a very useful site.

It will tell you which exchange you are connected to, how far away from the exchange you are, what services your exchange currently supports, if your exchange is congested, etc, etc.

    Default ADSL speeds slow ?

If your experiencing slow speeds, and you think it's an isp problem, then try take your isp out of the loop and connect to bt's speed checker :

[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

If you're getting slow speeds still then the chances are your vp might be suffering from contention, in which case, check your exchange :

[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    and

[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

If you're not getting slow speeds then it's possibly a problem with your isp and you should check your isp support pages for information on network problems, or contact your isp.
