Loading Error

Hey everyone I need a little help

I have set everything up through a router (for some reason crossover cable would not work)

I try to load an iso and it gets all the way to where it says initialising... and then freezes

any suggestions?

I was ablt to use PDX loader 1.2 beta through DOS, but when I try and use
PDX Gamecube Disc Server 1.2.1 beta it hangs at initializing

Now I was wondering what settings people have found to be the best?

this is how i got mine to work.. maybe using a network card.. might be of some help

1. disabled ICS and my firewalls on my PC
2. disabled Automatic Disconnect on PSO
3. set Network Card to 10 full Mode

then turned on my CUBE and ran GC Disc Server v1.2 beta on my PC
but the CUBE still wouldn't connect to the server.

so i thought... i know psul works from command prompt, so i'll try it all the old way.
so i created shortcuts for PDX-ACL.EXE and psul.exe
started up my CUBE
then dragged my game on to PDX-ACL.EXE
and dragged PDX-ACL.DOL on to psul.exe
connected with PSO and the Loader booted

I can get it to connect when using the GUI version it hangs at initializing - I see the psul command prompt connect and send the image though

I stuck the gui version off a sub folder on my desktop but it didn't work until i dumped it into a c:\temp\ - i don't know if it was spaces in the file path or what not that was causing it to fail..

Also a crossover cable works fine for me.
