there are people in this section selling bba's a few private sales and cuball who is supplying them direct from japan
huh? I was on about a controller adaptor?!?
Hi,
We sell the Joybox 13 Gamecube to PC USB adapter, we used to sell the skillz one you linked to but the compatibility of these was not too great, and they were pretty expensive.
The joybox 13 works with pretty much any pad (the skillz would only work with official pads, and then not all of them), £9.90 if you are interested (inc. VAT).

thanx, does yours work with wavebirds? It's a pity u didnt mention it earlier. I have sent consoleland an email asking them to cancel the order.
I bought the Skillz Convertor from Lik-Sang afew months ago. Although it works and the cable itself is very well made, it just doesn't do quite everything it says.
You can't customise the deadzone. Infact...there is no customization AT ALL! Although the test panel in the driver setup gets the rumble pack going, it never works with any force feedback games.
Oh, and it only works with normal Official GC Pads and does not like the Wavebird at all.
I think it's drivers that are to fault more than the cable. Shame there are no driver updates.

Not tried it with a wavebird yet, i know it was designed to work with third part pads as well as originals, so fingers crossed with the wavebird.
I will check one out tommorow and see.

fiv5, that gamecube adaptor has a poor driver. The analog stick moves in a circle on the calibration settins but needs 2 move in a square (like the ps2 does). Secondly it wud b useful if the shoulder buttons had a deadzone (degree of movement which will b ignored) becuz as it stands it is almost constantly getting an input from the shoulder buttons because they r so sensitive. I think u shud mention the analog stick problem on ur website with the product.
typical, will poach the forums 2 advertise products from his site, but wont respond wen thers a problem.
Prob a bit late now. I have the skillz Cube adapter, I am currently using the Hori pad for my Snes Emulation. however, i will check later and see how it compares when using the actual Cube pad and report back.
What types of games are you wanting this for?
Cheers.....Q
