Has everyone given up on hacking $ky?

I haven't heard or read anything for ages on the subject, up until about 6 months ago, there seemed to loads of ideas/projects/disscusions. There was the Mccormack hack, which never seemed to publicly come to light, not even any info on it, (whatever it was/is)
So have things gone more underground now, or have they simply started to fizzle out?

Well it used to be, quite a lot actually, we allways had some interesting disscussion, not just lame threads saying that "My cousin gets free $ky by plugging it into his microwave!" I just noticed that a lot of the names that were around seem to have dissapeared.

I cant figure out why people are holding on to the idea of sky being hacked.

It isnt some 2 bit company like ITV dig or NTL, if somebody did crack it, they would just change the system, they would simply have too.

The way $ky is going it's not gonna be worth it. Every night I turn on the tv and get the usual rubbish. reallity tv shows and useless game shows.

Will somebody remind me why I pay for watching normal people go about their everyday business and slappers trying to "win" the affections of a bloke.... :-\
