    Default nokia 8310

    anyone got any help ,my daughter has got a nokia 8310 but she dropped it and broke the on off switch do you know is it part of the screen or a seperate part ,and do you know where i can get the parts from ,cheers lads

    The on/off button is placed on the main pcb m8. It may be better for you to get it replaced at a shop for about £10.

    And yes m8 you can just buy the switch seperatly.

    Same thing happened to me - in my case the on/off switch was still intact and it just took a little solder each side of the switch to get the phone up and running again... its working great & i repaired it about a year ago now
