yeah i can adjust the squelch thingy, and search, but it only finds the odd thing. I have a very cheap manual ar tuner that picks up more than this....any ideas?

    hi m8,
you could try attaching an external ariel to it, see what that brings in. but i dont think there is much to be had on any scanner these days. now we are nearly gone all digital. you could say the days of the scanner are over. happy christmas. leonard.

An external ariel (as leonard say's ) would help a lot nevets,, i have just had a search on its frequency range and it does state 29-54mhz,, (i think this is the usa version though,, but i'm not 100% on it m8) but if you do have that coverage,, then listen to 31.000-31.250mhz,, this is the frequency for cordless phones and makes good listening at times
If you tell the truth, you don’t have to remember anything.
