Kill Bill 1 was an excellent movie - can't wait for part 2. Its should just as good, if not better with a few added twists.

Kil Bill v1 was the best film of 2003 by far. he's the only director with any original ideas and style nowadays

    Hmmm ROTK???

You say that he is groundbreaking but he is just making his style of film... Pulp Fiction was groundbreaking, Kill Bill is just new...

i think that taking genres with a relatively small following and merging them for the mass market would be a better way of describing the tarantino style, and thank God he does it so well........roll on 2!

Not really rated much of their stuff. Fargo's probably my favourite film that I've seen of theirs but that doesn't include their most recent stuff.

ROTK!!! Groundbreaking? Far from it. Surely it's just the 'newest' of the three??? IMO it was the poorest of the three films. Like they spent all the budget on the previous two but knew everyone would go and see it no matter what. They knew they didn't have to try as hard... There was a good few places where I thought the CGI wasn't up to the previous standards. Mismatched contrast, different colours from scene to scene etc...

I didn't say QT was ground breaking, just he had original style and content. He stands out from all the hollywood regulars who churn out the same formulated shite year in year out. He's the only one that tells a story that has you wondering what's gonna happen rather than working the plot out 5 minutes in.

Isn't it strange though how peter jackson seems to have forgot that he directed bad taste? I've seen most of the footage on both Fellowship and Towers but I've not heard it mentioned once.. MMMmmm wonder why?

Bad Taste is one of the first movies Peter directed. Not much of a story and special effects that aren't as good as you'd expect them to be, but as for a b-movie, it's one of the best splatter flicks I've ever seen.

Bad Taste and Braindead are both classics, a bit different in terms of budget and effects to LOTR!
