    somebody told me in wales they have movies and sport on there free to air box's and it takes a card for this , just like before..
    because they cant get cable or sky. why sky i dont know.

    It'll still be a hackable as the H/W is Seca, surprised there going for it again. Only a handful of progs at though mo, nothing special.
    Top-Up TV launch details revealed
    12:28 GMT, Monday 9th February 2004 -- by Alan Jay

    Top-Up TV - brainchild of former Sky executives David Chance and Ian West - have today revealed their launch plans, channel lineup and costs.

    DTT set-top boxes will need a smart card reader and card which will cost £20 (half price online sign up). The monthly cost will be £7.99 with an option for Television X for an additional £9.99 a month.

    Channel Hours of broadcast
    UK Style 6pm - 11pm
    E4 4pm - 4am
    Discovery 12pm - 11am
    UK Gold 12pm - 12am
    Turner Classic Movies 7pm - 7am
    UK Food 10am - 4pm
    Cartoon Network 6am - 6pm
    Discovery Home & Leisure 6am - 12pm
    Boomerang 5am - 12pm
    Bloomberg 5am - 10am
    TVX 11pm - 5am (additional subscription)

    According to the FAQ on their website there are no plans at present to add other channels to this lineup.

    Nice, I think it was playing wih 'elvis' that brought me here in the first place. Mind ive got sky these days so not much use, good for the bedroom though.

    if its to do with sKY i can t see them using the same crappy card system as itv/on digi used
    they got more cash/resources than any other co.
    so i wouldnt count my eggs.

    its not sky,its the guy who used to be the chief exec of sky who will be running it , but i have heard that they are getting a new encryption system.
    but thers nothing wrong with a little egg counting dave
    edit--by the way you should have just 2 eggs anymore than that u got probs m8
