Default Accidently dragged folder into a windows hotfix folder, now i get access denied

    hey big problem

i had the half life 2 beta on my C root folder..
so to open the folder you obviously double click it but i dragged it with my right mouse button by accident and it was moved to

    C:\766bb13b5ac

it only contains a sub folder called sp2\update.exe

thats all there is in there.. but when i tried to cut and pase the hl2 beta back out i get this now

Ok, i dont know how i managed to guess this solution myself but..

I only have XP Home on this pc, i remembered that downstairs you can change security settings on folders..
so i went into safe mode, logged on as administrator and looked at the security settings of the folder

it reported that there was no owner of the folder so i "claimed" it and allowed my username full permissions and now it's sorted!

man, i still cont have a clue how that came to me and sorry for the waste of board space
