On Wednesday night I went on the to tutv website and when you subscribe you can subscribe interest for it. So I did. On Friday evening I got an email saying thanks for your interest, If you would like to recieve your viewing card in time for tutv launch then you must subscribe before 26th march, plus the special offer of £10 subscription fee also expires on the 26th March so be quick if you want to make the most of this offer!

    Cheers hxbro.
I have posted in a few threads on DS concerning TUTV, but for some reason I haven't been able to access their forums for the past couple of days, although I'm still getting e-mail notifications of replies to threads I have posted in...strange.

Press release on them using mediaguard

    http://www.nagra.com/news.php?id_news=84

it says the latest version which would suggest hacking it may be a problem

Jimbob from what i gather the cards will be almost definately hackable if TUTV use the original system that OD used (seca1) but if they are using the new seca2 system its anybodys guess as i dont think this system has been cracked yet. No one seems to know for sure which system it is they will be using until the cards arrive so its a case of wait and see. No harm in digging out the old millenium progger and seein if the old lass still works tho

I've still got a digital-forums card programmer somewhere! Use the old digi box in the bedroom, problem is where did I put the card!

cards have started to arrive, anyone got one yet ? tried reading it ?

I'll dig out my old programmer, see if it still works when my card arrives. I'll have to find all the old tutorials.

Wondering if trying to read with ,say, MKF could damage it if it's a seca2? Probably not the first part of reading card layout, but not too sure about the 'back door' method of getting keys....recalling irreversible damage of experiments a few years ago.... :|

I read on another site that TUTV are stating all existing ITVD boxes will be compatible with the new technology and that all the old boxes were seca so the chances are that this is going to be very possible
