I have a pioneer od box and have done a add channels/store channels plus a auto update but cant see any of the new channels listed i have all the other free view stuff eg sky news ect but no joy for the topup tv stuff i am on winter hill transmiter what am i doing wrong

Can you currently get channel 5 on your box?

8 of the 11 TUTV channels are broadcasting on MUX A, which is the multiplex carrying channel 5 (plus QVC, bid-up, BBC radio 1,2,3,4, heat radio & Mojo radio). So if you can't get channel 5 you wont get the new TUTV channels.

Looking at the Winter Hill transmitter information, MUX A is on the highest frequency and on the lowest power. Using a higher gain aerial & low loss coax could help.

who remebers Kevlar, special k, omega files etc.... still have them on backup!!!!!!!!

Now see some of us are concerned that because our boxes haven't used the card slot for so long they might get damaged. Is it possible to clone the card so the original is safe and the gold thing would get damaged in the event of summat going poop?

got my card over the weekend and let elvis have a look at it before doing the overnight update, personally I cant see the point of "golding" the card (surley they cant be daft twice?!) but I may well be able to get "X" for free....

Most of those names are still about and are on the same forum. As regards to gold cards youve no chance with SECA 2 encryption as they aint fast enough, titanium card at £30 a pop are the new gold card i am led to believe.

My card arrived this morning, its updated everything and I am watching cartoon network

Just thought I would add a quick note to this discussion. I too have recieved my card through the post, but will not be doing anything yet.

I am at present looking through all the websites and dl all the docs & progs I can find on S***2 v7 before I do anything else, after all it wasnt until a "certain" person came across a "certain" Polish document that Mo$c S**a took off.

I understand it is seca2, What Satellite referred to this and the uncracked Italian Pay TV system on which it is based. Still waiting to gte me mitts ona crad though.

Well from what I got from the card so far is the normal Se*a ident at position 01 ,
position 02 with an Ident 00A7 bitmap is all FFF`s , the card is se*a2 version 7.6 (n.prov2).

I would apprciate if a Mod can tell me if this info is allowed on this forum if not please delete it & I will no longer post any other info that I find.
