Major pc problem...HELP

AFTER DOWNLOADING AN ADD ON FOR MSN 6.1 CALLED 3 DEGREES WHICH WAS A BETA VERSION ON TO MY PC XP PRO, EVER SINCE IM HAVING TROUBLE WITH LOADING OTHER PROGRAMMS LOADING/SHUT DOWN/ BASICALLY MY PROGRAMMS ARE STICKING. AFTER ABOUT 30/45 SECONDS THEY WILL ALL LOAD TOGETHER ????

ANY SUGGESTIONS, PLEASE NOTE THAT IVE DELETED IT BUT STILL APPEARS ON MSN AND ITS STILL STICKING :nowords:

try takeing the CAPS lock of mate, take the program of and scan ya pc

yeah sounds like an adaware problem m8

well a problem solved by adaware. you can google it yourself as a punishment for spamming with caps locks

is it all programs that stick?

try pressing ctrl+alt+del and end processes that are using a lot of cpu time. one of these is probably the virus in question. you can end the task with the end task button

adaware or some other virus software (avg is good and free - again google) should sort it permanently

if not reinstall windows - always worth doing every once and a while anyway

Had exactly the same prob m8, re-install windows that does the trick!:thumbs

lol, not everyone is in the position to do that
