'Contact Service' wtf?

Hey,
i tired turning on my 8310 this morning and it dont light up or nothing just with the words on the screen saying contact service.

any ideas? :|

you could have bought a dodgy phone m8 one i bought about 8mts back did the same thing and i found out it was blocked by the network (in short the phone was nicked or reported lost after it was sold)

This can also be displayed if the phone is water damaged
to sort this you need to flash the phone with a new software

you can get this loads of ways and phone being barred is not 1 of them more likely to just needs a flash ?? if the phone is under 12 months old nokia will fix the phone free as long as there is no water damage

errrr yeh a doubt nokia will fix it m8, seeing as there is no registered warrenty and no proof of purchase... i dont need to spell out why

i'll look into re-flashing it.

they just type in the imei and tell you how long is left on the warranty

sc0use maybe u aint getting me, they type the imei in the lil computers and i doubt either of us will leave best please. i dont no the phones history, so i dont want to take the risk of letting nokia get their hands on it.
