Problem with digibox

My digibox sort of died last night. I did a signal test & still get a quality signal & also good signal strength, but,
my tv screen is blank & blue, with only the following on it, permanently:-

at the bottom of the screen, the blue & white bar which tells you what's on now/next on the channel you are viewing.
I can change channels but get similar display for the new channel. I have reset the box to no avail. Anyone tell me if I ought to be talking to an engineer about a repair, or is there an easy fix for this one? I rang one sat shop & he said it might be a "power supply problem", does anyone concur with him? I have swapped scart leads around(on sky's advice, doh!) but that didn't work either. They say they can send an engineer around to fix it all inclusive for £65, inc. parts or replacement digibox. Is this a good deal? Should I try local dealers instead? :splease

Why not contact sky and tell them u wish to cancel your subscription. When they ask why tell that your not willing to pay £65 for the repair of your box. From what ive seen posted over the last few years, it has been known for them to come and fix it free of charge. I may be wrong but theres no harm in trying.
