Default Robin Hood Defender of the Crown

ok , I had my doubts on this one but my m8 wanted it so we gave it 1/2hr on Sat which turned into 6 hrs !!!

Best described as Risk, "a town building" sim, stragery with mini games built in (fighting, bow and arrow, jousting found so far)

Bit heavy on the narrative txt scenes however really playable.

Case of own counties, get the cash in and build up your armies/castles etc

    Armies split into

    Peasants
    Arches
    Foot Soldiers
    Knights
    Catapults

When fighting an opposite army they line up on the screen and its real-time battle

    EG
    YOUR ARMY THEIR ARMY
    Peasants (100) Peasants (75)
    Archers (75) Archers (80)
Foot Soldiers (80) Foot Soldiers (65)
    Knights (40) Knights (35)
    Catapults (10) Catapults (12)

You then pick who from your army attacks the enemies army divisions.

Each attack does certain amount of damage to their totals.

When you take on a castle you have to use your catapults to take down the walls of the castle........ really good fun and different

Anyway............. I`d recommend this to anyone who enjoys stradegy type games.

    Cheers
