Actually, you guys might be able to help.

I have seen some new TFs and MR2s (ordinary ones) and can't decide which one is better. The only problem I have with the MR2 is that it only has the compartments behind the seat whereas the TF has at least the boot for one piece of luggage.

Which one would you choose between the two?

What's the best price you know of?

    Regards

I prefer the new shape over the old shape, definetley.

smack: The TF's are nicer, but for 15k/17k which they cost i'd get a BMW coupe with leather interior.

Hahaha, this is so weird, I thought about that one too! I compared the price with a Z3 2.2 51 reg with about 25000 on the clock. I just can't see myself in a BMW though....

What do you prefer about the TF, xdam?

Sorry Jackroo, I feel like I've invaded your thread.

Definitley old shape, i'm on my 2nd SW20 (old shape) now and lovin' em. The new shape looks great from the back but front is ugly as sin so i've stayed away.

You can put 2 sets of golf clubs in the boot of the tf, if that's your thing.

I don't like MR2's period, but from an aesthetics point of view the new shape wins hands down.

the width of the old shape was reduced from the origanal design which put a kink in the maths done for the traction and led to the unfortunate side effect of it leaving wet roundabouts at tangents the wrong way round (arse about face). This is a known and proven fact and this major flaw has been corrected in the new one.

Id go for a Beamer coupe aswell, 330ci . MR2 is a bit of a birds car. The majority I have seen are driven by woman, especially the newer ones

Both cars have body kits on dude, and both are from car domains. I prefer the new one as it goes.

    Apology accepted
