Virgin BB uncapping?

I'm new to the site but getting stuck in

I have virgin BB at home running through a SpeedTouch 330 USB ADSL modem... any ideas how I can max out it's bandwidth? It says that it's running at 576kb/sec but the download/upload speed seems to be much less than that - any tricks or tips from anyone?

you can't uncap like cable with adsl

try the speed test on www.adslguide.org.uk to see what sort of speed you are getting, your top speed at any point should be around 50k/s
