hi all i have a 7650 got it off a mate he tryed to unlock the phone didant work now i cant coz he tryed to much and also the phone says its blacklisted is there away around this (LEAGALY) thank you.

If the fone has been blacklisted/barred then there is no way round it full stop m8.

Was it working before you tried unlocking it, What comes up on screen when you put a sim in it and turn it on (and what network sim ??)

Generally the fone won't say that it is blacklisted but with o2 and Orange it will say "simcard registration failed" and the others just won't show a signal.

Or if its not been unlocked it will say "enter registration code" or something like that m8.

Plz give us a few more details.

well it was on orange i didant try to unlock it coz i no what im doing he didant there is away around it but its hard and your not allowed to do it also some times t mobile will still work in a blacklisted phone car phone warehouse told me it was blacklisted when i gave to them to fix now i just want to get it unlocked so i can use t mobile in it orange are *******s thats it now it will not work on that again.

All operators barr the fones now m8. I don't know about car fones but I would think this is the same.

If T-Mobile are not barring them then I think they are breaking the law.

PS, there is no way around the DCT 4 Nokia fones either,,,once they are barred that is it - paperweight.
