    Default Free sky movies

It has been noted to us this evening and confirmed by Sky, that since 1st January 2004, anyone with a Sky Sports World package (regardless of base pack) can subscribe to Sky Movies 2,4,6 and 8 at no additional cost. The pack price for Sky Sports World and Family Pack is £33, the same as adding on Sky Movies 2,4,6 and 8 (£33). Contrary to the Sky website, Sky Sports 3 and Sky Sports Xtra are still included as bonus channels. You can adjust your package by calling 0870 240 4040.
saves £7 so has to be worth it.

Yup I've already done this (thought it was common knowledge) - The package is known as 1G (or G1 I can't remember).

Not actually a full £7 saving as the extra £7 would get all movie channels (not just 2,4,6 and 8) - 2,4,6 and 8 are usually a bit further behind the others in terms of releases.

So at this moment I have the full package and an extra box (sky +) if I drop to sky sports world, I will get everything I have now and save £7.00 a month?

    Is this right?

Please check my posts in the Satellite section. This is just a heads up guys. Sky have realised the mistake and are putting procedures in place to rectify it. And their T+Cs cover them.

You will get Sky World package free for a couple of months though (i.e. all the movie channels).

Sky are in the process of sending out letters to all those that subscribed to the G1 package.
