    Default New Handheld

    http://www.gametrac.com/flash.asp

Gametrac, the device includes a digital camera and GPS tracking functionality, a concept we exclusively revealed some months ago was in development for Game Boy Advance.

Make no mistake, the ‘Trac is well kitted out, with MP3 and MPEG4 playback and full mobile phone compatibility, complete with multiplayer Bluetooth multiplayer gaming.

It has a 2.8-inch screen and is wonderfully designed. At present, the only game revealed is reliable old Tomb Raider, seemingly made available for every device that gets a release. Oh, and the Gametrac uses Windows CE too

Yeah saw this on gamerTV a while ago when they were raving about the GPS functionality, but tbh it's just gimmicky isn't it, when it's got to compete against GBA/DS and PSP then it needs some seroius pushing power behind it in the form of games not gimmicks, and looking at the site they only have 3 games mentioned and they're made by joe blogs

Look at the GP32, technically, a fabulous handheld, but for the average consumer it's usless but technically it's leaps ahead of the GBA.

I can see gametrac + that zodiac one going the same way as GP32, it'll just be a few hardcore console lovers who have em, dont expect the kids to be asking for them at Christmas

Played with one today. The screen is excellent, very bright and clear. GPS functionallity is def. not a gimmic.

There is one def. downside with the console in that the battery it is going to come with will only offer 2.9hrs playing time.

The other potential downside is of course the content. It will be interesting to see what they announce to the world at E3. They intend to have some big publishers to announce within the next two weeks.
