I take it that you have not used f disk before then mate.
Because it is rather straightforward. When you run it, it will diplay a list of functions that it can perform. You only need to enter the number that corresponds to "delete primary dos partition", unless of course you need to delete an extended dos partition first.

F disk is a very easy to use, very powerful program.
After deleting that partition, you will need to make a new one, reboot, then format it before it can be used. Unless of course you stick it in as a second drive, and just use Partition Magic to do all the work for you, only faster.

diablos mate, please keep your character assassinations and piss and vinegar comments for the Football section only.

This section of the forum is for helping people, and if you want to do that, that's great. But don't criticise other people for trying to help, especially when they are correct.

The "uneducated fool's" post was correct, although he really should have gone in to more detail.
It was quite reasonable to assume that the OP had never used FDISK before, and with the basic instructions posted the OP may very well have ended up getting lost while using FDISK.

I would have posted the same link as Diablos as Radified make very good walkthroughs, although I probably would have omitted the sarcasm when posting it.
