    You need:

    Broadband
    A PS2
    PS2 network adapter
    Network cable
Network card in Pc if your going to use ICS (Internet connection sharing)
or if you have the money an ADSL router (approx £80)

If you get a router the PC doesnt have to be on while your playing online with the PS2, and its easier to set up

Dead easy to set up, no subscription costs, and loads of fun.

Here is a link for info on teh connection types available:

    http://uk.playstation.com/networkgam...8&linktype=MPC

any more questions just ask....Been Beta testing the network and games since the start

Why you want a USB router? Can't really recommend a specific model but the netgear and linksys models are good:

It will work perfectly mate (I've got the same one) just remember to set the DMZ in it to the ip address of your PS2 (eg I set my PS2 to a fixed IP address and made that the DMZ) if you don't, you won't get any speech online (well deffo in Socom anyway). It has a really good support forum online too.
    Cheers
