    Default Microfilters

I have BT broadband; can anybody tell me if the microfilters they supply are any good or should I buy more?

The reason I ask is that today I have not signal i.e. DSL light on modem out. I ran the diagnostics and it told be that the signal was missing (shit hot or what!!).

I did notice a lot of crackling on the line. I received another modem pack about 3 weeks ago (by mistake!) but held onto it just in case.

I changed the microfilter and low and behold everything this ok.

FYI the filter is a Excelsus Z-Blocker model Z-420UK-A

    Cheers

you do get faulty filters every now and again, I'd send the broken one back.
