Is kevin smith still going ahead with FLETCH as that post is from june 2000. Last I heard was its working title was FLETCH WON but I aint heard anything about it in ages.

Cheers for the links guys , its renewed my Kev smith interest again and Ive been having a read round the net for more info. Ive read that Kevin is doing the Green Hornet before Fletch. And a lot of rumours seem to be that Jason Lee might be considered for the part of Fletch.

Smith wanted Jason Lee to do it, but Miramax wouldnt left - hes definately not going to be in the picture now. Unfortunately, cause he would have made a great Fletch.

I think this is the sticking point with this project, Kevin Smith is adamant that he wants Lee as Fletch.

Yeah I heard thats why he chose to do Green Hornet first , he was pushing back fletch till Jason Lee was available.

Been following this one for ages, really cant wait, but theres no good news at the moment Always been a Fletch fan and I love Smiths movies and Lee so this could be fantastic.
