I am right in assuming that in-order for my old philips box to even see the channels I'll need an official card? tried re-scanning etc and it just has the usual suspects on there.

on that subject, how can I update my box si it gets rid of all the sky movie channels ets...

you should be able to do a store channels in the setup to fetch the current channel LCNs

Press Menu
Press 5 (getting started)
Press 4 (store channels)

That should wipe the current channel list and fetch the current ones

If store channels doesn't get you the new ones, then it's you signal. You should get all the channels by doing a store channels, even though you won't be able to view the TopUp ones.

Can you get Channel 5, and if so, does the picture break up at all ?

I've not just trawled through 500 pages of Polish and Italian SAT forums to find one promising looking thread, in English, and then have it conk-out like this.

I'm trawling all the UK SAT boards looking for anyone interested in setting up a TUTV cardsharing ring?

Has anyone had any luck unlooping these new 7.6 cards? [all the information I can find is in Spanish or Italian] BUT I've got a cardserver working with PC clients using DVB-T PCI / USB devices. I'm now looking for people to test with "normal" Set Top Boxes connected to an online PC with a cheap season2 interface.

You fellaz sound like you know your stuff so if you can help be beta test this setup I'd really appreciate your input. Also if you know anyone who could work with the season2 logs or anyone up on ARM firmware disassembly please let me know.
