Is this PC worth it ?

Looking for some advice from all the clever people on here.

Ive been "instructed" to buy a PC for my 13 year old daughters birthday next week.
She will mostly use it for BB internet,homework and CD writing.

Oh,it has to have a TFT monitor..............and "look cool".

The following has now become my choice(altho' I'll have to add a writer).

Does it do the job ???

Are they gonna kiss you before they take your money?

I don't think the components used to construct that could get any cheaper if you tried.
Have you considered taking the money you would spend on that and building your own?

beekae were do you live, we could hold hands and build one together as i live in central scotland and pleanty shops in glasgow to buy the bits.

17" silver,they seem to go for around the �300 mark,and theres very few much cheaper on e-bay.
Ive left it a bit late now for delivery,so really need to pick up in,or around Glasgow.
