CPU giving high temps all of a sudden

hey i was happily running a amd mobile 2500 it was first 2 weeks i had it running like a dream on 2.6ghz,, with temps as good as 42 idle.

i then got borred one day and put my finger in the thermaltake fan while it was spinning for a split second it hit 70o from then on i get shit temps like 55idle or even 60 and thats running on 2.4gh its being a bitch i havent made mistake on voltage its 1.87

any ideas mabee if i take of and reaply thermal or thiis a wesate of time i got thermal take volcano 12 and arctic solver 5

Have u flashed the bios recently. i have a m848a flashed with Ls75a 127 cheepo bios and it gives temps 0f 70 c but when i flash back to orig its goes to normal.


maybe the heatsink has not been attached properly clean heatsink and re-apply paste.


or damaged fan check rpm in bios maybe not running as should

fan rpm is 5818, i got abit nf7-s i didnt flash it but it happened after the finger went in before ithat it was properly in i used to get good temps.
