Bad Drivers?

I had a bad day today got stuck behind a white Van moron who did not know what lane to go in so he just did a U -turn on dual carriage way. Then saw some Noob driving past 3 exits on roundabout with indicator on to exit.

This kind of thing gets to me and I get so mad, I sometimes get on the verge of driving into some one in my car just so I have the opportunity to ask them how they got a license and whether they understand ANY of the highway code.

Please post experiences you guys may have had, will make me feel better. I have very short patients with people who are so stupid they cant drive properly I find it upsetting that people get busted for going 10 miles over the limit at midnight on an empty road but losers like this are on the road – doing their thing (what ever that is).

i ****ing hate.. HATE.. ppl who go at 20-30 on 60 roads.. im up and down country roads regularly, and the amount of ****ing old grannies and middle aged women who trundle along at 20 or 30 miles an hour (not like these are very twisty roads either.. u can happily do the whole thing at 90-100 and not have to brake once) does my ****ing NUT IN!...

no ****ing wonder road rage is at an all time high when ppl have to sit behind ****ers who cant find the accelerator.

and im not a huge fan of speeding, purely cos i only have a 1.3, but going stupidly below the limit does my tits in.

I found the older I get the less important it is to get to my destination 5-10 mins ealier by doing silly speeds or risk taking.

I find I hate peeps passing me in some sort of shitter and grinning as they are faster then me as I travel along in me courier van, I do like the money their accidents generate though, keeps me low mileage evo and me houses in tip top condition.

I personally think that anybody who gets wound up to the stage where they feel the need to use their vehicle as a battering ram is more of a danger than the old lady doing 20 in a 30 zone.

I have the same problem as I travel the same road as marcode most days. It's about 15 miles of country road, great for driving when clear, and i can honestly say, it can be driven without having to slow down for any corners, etc. But for some reason, and i dont know why, it seems to be this road encourages twats to drive at a constant 37mph, regardless of the speed limit on it...which BTW, goes from 60 - 50 - 60 again.

I have seriously considered ramming some people before, and came VERY close to it on a few occasions.

Its not just people I don't know, in fact i've shouted at my gran before for going 20mph on a 60 road, and will continue to do so when she drives like a twat.

I ****ing hate lorry drivers that are supposed to be professional drivers. The amount of times i've been cut up by ****ing lorries. Just cos they're big they go where ever thehell they like. I also hate it when people go all the way round roundabouts on the outside lane so when you try to come off they're still ruddy going round

i hate tailgaiters, especially ones who dont overtake you when the opurtunity is there. they just sit glued to your bumper.

I had someone do this to me for 100miles on the A68. I lifted-off on a long straight thinking they would go past, but no they just sit there filling my rear view mirror. I would get clear for a bit after passing lorries etc, but he would then come flat-out to catch up and sit on my bumper again. this was a 60 zone and i was cruising about 70.

after 100miles we hit road works with tempory traffic lights, when we get there it is red. So i got out walked back and said 'why you driving so close?' this guy was cocky and said 'huh, that wasn't close ill show you close if you want' I then had a good 30s of swearing and waving my hands about, telling him what i thought. The lights changed and he drove around my car. I let the others cars in the queue past and went on my way.

As an experienced continental driver, I can say he wasn't being a twat!

People drive very differently on mainland europe (better imo) theres three reasons why they sit on your arse.

one being that you were driving very much below the speed limit and it's a get your arse out the way or speed up scenario. (that's normaly only on motorways)

or more commonly

people sit behind eachother all the time due to it's less evident to the local plod that you're speeding if theres 2 or more cars in a line doing "illegal" speeds.

or they sit on your behind you as they think you have more local knowledge than they do of possible police speed traps!

As in France they do not use static speed cameras.

I can assure u that he was being a twat, not keeping the correct separation distance when driveing is far far more dangerous than doing a few mph over the speed limit, if u're too close you don't have enough time to react to sudden events like brakeing and are likely to cause a serious RTA, this is why there is no speed limit on the autobhan in germany but they'll **** you if you drive too close. if you think this is a better style of driving you seriously need to get a copy of the highway code. And one last point, remember that speed limits are the maximum speed permited on roads, not the speed you have to go. so unless other road users are doing 8mph or less u have nothing to complain about.

i see nuff ppl doing this: ragging it on the motorway till they are inches away from the car in front and just sitting there. wtf!? was drivin down m6 on way to cov the other day, just joined and was in left hand lane, truck passed, turned my indicator on to get into the middle lane behind it and then this dizzy bitch in a micra flies up and positions herself literally 2 feet away from the back end of the truck, just so i couldnt get in front of her. i wish the truck would have broke so she would have learnt the hard way that tailgaiting at high speeds is bad

People who can't figure out how wide their cars are is another one. Village near me (Knebworth for anyone that knows it). Cars parked on either side of the street, and yes it doesn't leave loads of room, but if you slow down to 5 / 10 mile an hour you can easily get two cars past each other - but no - people will sit and wait causing queues - makes my blood boil

I could go on and on but i'll spare you all
