Do Analogue cable boxes talk back?

Hi, can anyone please tell if analogue cable boxes talk back? I've just got myself a modded digital box, but I'm not sure if I should use a 2 way splitter and connect it inline with my analogue box.....Thanks for any help.

yes analog boxes talk back, if its been chipped then it should not talk back any more.

cubes cut talkback but radiate a signal themselves so there shit.
