    Default Sopranos S5

having just watched the s5 finale, im left a bit disapointed.. trying not to give any spoilers.. wasnt there sposed to be some big ending to this series?.. like the removal of james gandolfini since he was askin for too much money?

well.. there have been some good (and some toss) episodes this series, but i was hoping for something big for the finale, and was left disappointed, the ending was quite funny i spose, but nothing like what i was hoping for.

not the best season, but it had its moments.

    shame.

anyone else seen it yet and care to comment on the finale, or the series as a whole?

just grabbing it now, i agree this series has beenpretty much up and down, like the penultimate episode but been pretty run of the mill stuff this series.

prefer to watch the shield at the mo , at least they have extended the series to 15 shows - but again it has also suffered a few episodes not really being up to it.

hope to watch the finale in a few hours. will comment later.

Chase had planned to finish the series with season 5, resulting in his original ideas getting diluted and carried over to the sixth.

That guy blowing the security guard made it all worthwhile (!) in a season that sometimes appeared a little disappointing. Hopefully it'll improve second time around with the DVD set (I found this to be the case with season 4).

I gotta disagree, I think season 5 has been well worth waiting for, apart from the daft episode with the dream I think they have done a good job. The final episode was a bit of an anti-climax but on the up side it leaves it wide open for a 6th season.

Still the best thing on TV.............
