Default Philips DTX6371 stuck on Channel 3

    Hi,

I have a philips on digital box which is locked to channel 3, which is working. But as you can imagine, ITV gets a tad boring after a short while!!

Anyone know how to unlock it to receive the rest of the channels??

    TIA

    Chris

Done that too - several times, have noticed that the 'M' button on the front brings up the menu on my other one but not on this one although pressing any button on the front brings it out of standby... (as far as I remember - its not plugged in ATM, although I tried it yesterday and its still stuck - and it hasn't got any viewing card inserted either.

Perhaps one of your boxes is using remote system A, and the other is using B.

Have you tried changing the remote codes to see if that's the problem?

If you don't know how to do it, the manual explains it.

My Philips IDTV was doing the same thing (except of QVC which is bloody annoying). Fixed it by unplugging the arial, switching it off and on at the mains, then did a channel refresh.
