I've just installed one of these and clocked it to 166 MHZ, giving me 2097MHZ CPU speed....

Does anyone know what it can be overclocked to oor if this is the correct speed ?

Presuming you're meaning a 2800 XP?? If so, the default speed for those is 2.25Ghz. It's supposed to run a 166FSB iirc, so the multiplier is wrong.

yea sorry about that, so it is a 2800+, so what mulitiplier should it be please ?

The XP 2800 has a true clock speed of 2.083 GHz, so your speed of 2.097 GHz (2097 MHz) is correct.
