I must admit i didnt think it was up 2 much. but maybe coz i kept fast-fowarding most of it coz i just couldnt be bothered to sit thru it. I think its a shame they put the title on Orton so early, i think they have rushe it abit and would have had more of an effect if he actually was feuding with benoit as opposed to just wining a battle royale.

They keep pushing this 'Youngest ever champion' thing down our throats as if its a good thing. Look at the last 3 youngest champions:
    Yokozuna - Dead,
    The Rock - Part timer,
    Brock Lesnar - NFL wannabe...

I have to say I thought it was a pretty poor show with some good bits

    Some Spoilers below (not many)

like the gm face off, gets u thinking that there is going to be some defections soon from raw to smackdown. Edge looking like he is turning heel, was waiting for lita to turn and for regal.

I do think though that there is a lot of the roster turning heal at moment (orlando, spike and now possibly edge) whereas there appears little heel to face moves. Whats more there is another heel coming in on smackdown with heyman reichman or something like that which must make smackdown heel heavy with no major face except for Cena and Eddy, Taker ( very minimum showtime) Hass (cant really do much still early days as single competitor was much better with cheltham benjamin), then u have angle, luther reighns, jbl, orlando, booker t, renee dupree, that new jap wrestler fist of fury, spike, devon, and bubba or whatever it is add reichman or what ever his name is they are all heels.

I am thinking there must be some raw guys movin to smackdown shortly to even that show up a bit. What do u guys think?

thought Orton might lose it to HHH and then win the rumble to get his title from HHH at WM21 as they want HHH to stay heel.

i've only just got around to watchin this, and I must admit that i am well happy - i think Orton will make a great champ, and now there'll probly be loads of internal bust ups within evolution whcih will cause a massiiiive fued lasting until wrestlemania.....nice - maybe they should of made more of a fued out of it?? i don't know - the suprise of his win made it all the better i think

Benoit was my fave champ in a long time though, and i just really hope that they don't do to him, what they did to Jericho, and never even give him a sniff of the belt again.

    Orton champ :thumbs

Is it just me or is Orton going to be a crap face? it dosent look to good for him seeing that they turned him face by having him get the living sh*t kicked out of him. Great start champ!!

yea, its dead unfortunate, they have done it the wrong way around - they should have kept Orton as a heel, and then turned HHH face after loads of probs in evolution

just have to see how it plays out i guess

    Shooooooo-ryuken!
