There was a bunch of dizzy games, pretty cool stuff

However, as seen im my 'Name that game 2' thread, my vote is for N.O.M.A.D. on the speccy

    awwww...Dizzy mint game

Original Dizzy was a git - you spend the whole game jumping over the middle of the bridge so that it doesn't collapse - then after 5 hours, just as you're gonna complete it - you get a nervous thumb twitch: jump on the middle, bridge breaks, you fall in the chasm - stuck there forever ........ gggrrrrr :annoyed:

I can remember a game on my speccy that I loved to play. It was called 'Lotus Esprit'.
You drove around a city shooting cars and running over peds up ladders.
Could be classed as one of the first '3D-freeroaming-driving-shootemups'.
Pretty amazing at it's time. :thumbs

Daz73 - That sig makes me feel sick everytime I see it.

Not a very old game but I have fond memories of Stuntcar on the Amiga. At least I think that was what it was called. An old Geoff Crammond game. Great when I managed to get a link game going.

Does anyone remember a speccy game, where you played a sherrif who had to kill the bad cowboy in amusing Roadrunneresque ways. Like pushing a boulder at the right time to roll over him etc. Bloody good fun it was!

Can't remember the name for the life of me..........

Not going back as far as you guys but my all time fave is without doubt Super Metroid. Never felt so gutted after finishing a game knowing that it was finally all over.
