    Default Stomach Workouts

Right, i used to do a lot of weight lifting, and used to be quite big (muscle) and toned, however due to various injuries (Badly dislocated finger, broken toe! etc), I haven't been to the gym properly in about 8 months! Anyway, I've just started back but have noticed that in my time off being a lazy bastard, I have put a bit of weight on, but only on my stomach! - Everything else is fine, just my sides and bottom of stomach is getting a bit big!
I have been doing sit-ups, bit on the rowing machine and the crunch chair, but are there any other exercises that wil be good for taking off mass there? Sit-ups etc are good for toning up etc, but I wanna lose the weight I have there! I can't go fully cardio etc becaus eI'm also trying to build up a little of what I lost while away for it all, so really I am needing to concentrate on just losing that bit of "fat!"

Any recommended exercises which are good for this will be appreciated!

    cheers,
    John.

Wel m8 in a word not really, cause its ok doing the sit-ups etc
and feeling the bite but m8 to see them you will defo need to up your cardio.
Your diet will also have a bearing on this too as try n cut back your calorie intake
but increase your protein..Its ok saying you dont want to do cardio as you are building up but its bloody hard to keep the 2 m8..something has to give
Dont know if you do any cardio but you should try n do it after your weights
as this is your fat burning time as glycogen levels are just about depleted and mostly fat is used as energy...they say your fat burning zone is 60-80% of your
optimum heart rate..as this usues more fat cells making it more of a fat burner than cardio workout....its the part that most guys fiond hard too shift but
Patience is a virtue m8...good luck,,hope to have been of some help
