TSOP flashing (no chip exploit)

Ive been looking into how to do this and all the guide contain different methods and are confusing.

Whats the minumum level of equipment required to do it?

Ive already got a soldering iron to connect the points that need connecting.

As far as i can figure i need a copy of 007 and a memory card, i also read i can use a usb keyring, i like the sound of that option as it would come in handy for other things.

basically what do i need to buy and does anyone know the location of an easy to follow noobs guide?

I don't know how much information you have gathered on this. Basically you will need the save game and the original game to start.

There are 2 solder points that need to be bridged to enable writing of the TSOP.

The exploit and how to do what you require are detailed well at http://www.xbox-scene.com

It would be cheaper to buy a cheapmod from www.cheapmod.co.uk if you know how to use a soldering iron its very easy to fit and less hassle!

if your gonna get 007 and a memory card I would strongly suggest having a look at softmodding. Check out the xbe exploits on xbox-scene.

It gives virtually all the benefits of a chip/tsop flash and you dont even need to open your xbox if you have access to an already modded xbox.

Look for Ltools memory card installer.

if you can already solder the jumpers to flash the tsop u mite as well just get a chip installed, a cheapo akira or aladin chip costs less than a usb mem card and a copy of 007 AUF

My xbox is already modded, three of my mates are not and i cant see the point of them all getting a chip installed when they can club together and buy me a game and mem card.

So, can i use a usb keyring? as this would come in hadny for other stuff too

and can someone piint me to the exact tut on xbox scene? ive already spent over an hour browinsing their tutorials without finding the right one, theres hundreds on this subject and they all contain different methods.

regarding the usb keyring, i cant think how that would work without making some sort of pad to usb adapter and since memcards are about 2 quid on ebay id just get one of those

theres a brilliant flashpack on www.eurasia.nu called highway, get that, send it to your mem card, bridge the jumpers, boot 007 or MA and the rest is straight forward
