Default Need someone with good photoshop/illustrator etc skills!

Not sure whether this is the right section as it's not for a website, but I think it suits in here best!

Anyway, here is the problem. I have three colour graphics, and I need them to be changed to a black (or pref dark grey) colour. The only problem is, the graphics appear pixelated when printed. I need the graphics to be very "smooth" on the edges, yet the edges must be very precise, ie. it needs to look as though it isn't made up of pixels. This is very important! I've been trying for bloody ages and can't get it done to look good, so if anyone can lend a helping hand then I'd be eternally greatful! If anyone thinks they can help, please let me know. I've attached the images to this thread for convenience. I think I've explained what I am tryign to do, but if it's not clear, let me know!

    Cheers,
    John.

Firstly to get decent prints the images need to be 300px per inch, usually web images or images designed for the web at only 72px per inch, so when you print the images the quality will be shite.

Unless you can get hold of the original Illustrator files then you will probably need a pro to redesign them.

    Hi,
I don't think I'll be able to get hold of them in beter resolution... So - if anyone fancies reproducing em, lol.

If it makes a difference, they aren't being printed very large. Probably about a width of 4cm for the traveline one and about 6cm for the others.

Also, whats the best way to make em dark?

I was using greyscale mode and then changing the contrast etc, but surely there is a better way?

    Cheers
