    Default Putting Pc Together

    i'm connecting all the power supply leads up and have a grey lead with a black 4 hole plug on the end and then branching off that is a small 3 hole plug but it was comnnected to something before and now i dont know what to connect it to? anyone help?

    it does sound like the sound connector, but that would go to the sound card or on board sound card, it does not come from the powers supply
    is it a new power supply and do you have sata hard drive if so it might be the power connector for the hard drive, try and find a piccy and post it, it would be uch easier to solve the puzzle for you

    What PSU is it, could be SATA although unlikely most probably it'll be some fan speed monitoring that you would plug into a fan header on the mobo but without pics it's very difficult to be 100% sure.
