3410 contact service

Does anyone know how to get the contact service off my 3410. I switch it on and about 3 seconds later that message appears and nothing gets it off except removing the battery, i,m trying to unlock it. I've got the unlock code, i've also got rollins 1.8 dct3 unlock software if i need it, but when i try to get my phones info up, it says check mbus cable failed to initialise local mode. I've tried all the different settings and still nothing. Anyone any ideas cos i'm ripping my hair out, been trying to unlock it for 3 days, and nothing on the web gives you a straight answer on how to get contact service off it. cheers upfront.......THEBRAIN:nowords:

what os are you using if it is xp you need a prog called userport you will find it using google if you have done that and your com port settings are ok i would blame your data cable had same prob as for contact service you need a prog called eeprom tools to see if you have a hardware prob or corrupt software find this using google hope this helps

The fone will probably need flashing.

flash it with a new 3410 eep then use mbus cable to reset faid you can use a cheap dejan flasher if you have one with rolis.

if you don't have a proper mbus cable and flasher kit your in trouble.
