    Default fault on x-box

    i have got a xbox and when i switch it on the light stays green for 2 or 3 seconds the shuts down,any ideas or any links anyone could recommend.cheers

    1) Is this a "virgin" Xbox.... or has it been modded? (If so which mod?)

    2) Do you get anything displayed on the Screen in those 2-3 secs when it is on?

    ive seen most faults with the xbox but not this one, it sounds like a knackered powersupply but i wouldnt be 100% on it.
    Your gonna have to send it to someone who may be able to fix it, or who can atleast tell u what the problem is, ring microsoft, they may be able to help, failing that, goto dixons n buy a new un with three games for 100 quid and ebay the 3 games, will probably work out cheaper than getting your current one repaired and you also benefit from a new joypad.
