8310 microphone prob??

Having spilt some varnish on her beloved 8310,My missus has all features on her 8310 except no-one can hear her when she calls,.....Any ideas guys??

change the mic... or what I would do is look at the bottom of the handset and with a pin clean the mic hole at the base of the handset...

shouldnt be too difficult for you they are realy easy to change if needs be

I can'y find the actual mic part despite having taken it apart?......Any ideas what I'm looking for Mate?

the mic is situated in the charger block at the bottom of the phone

Does anyone know where I can get a diagram etc.....I don't wanna do any more damage if I can help it!

Thanks mate!,But having put the new mic in it still does the same despite full signal and volume from people calling her,So along with a 7210 that keeps sitching itself on and off,I'm gonna have to look for a repair man that isn't gonna cost an arm and a leg!!
