    Default problems booting

    hi can anyone help, board iwill kk266r, ati 9200se, amd chip running at 1533. spare computer for family member. every time you switch it on ,you have to press reset to enable the screen to boot. if the computer is on and you restart it it works fine, not got much hair left now, gary. ps its windows xp.

    first thing I'd try is a BIOS update, probably not windows causing a problem.
    What do you get when you just turn it on from cold? Do you have to wait a while before it'll work or can you switch it on, press reset nd then it boots fine straight away?
    Any beeps or errors?

    Try also loading setup defaults.
