Administrator/Owner

I am the sole user of an HP Pavillion PC running Win XP upgraded with Service pack 2, which is connected to three more PC's using a LAN, all of which are used solely by me.
I want to be Administrator and owner, without passwords so that I don't keep getting messages saying I don't have Administrative permission.

How do I configure this?, Windows Help does not seem to cover this.

Two ways....

1. Create the same account on all four PCs with admin rights with the same password.

2. Build a machine with Active Directory. AD would require a little more work but well worth the effort. http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000...es/dirlist.asp

Probably the easiest way, if you're using a workgroup, is to have the admin account using the same password for all pc's.

can anyone help i had my laptop stolen weeks ago the police have recovered it for me but the little sods who stole it have put administrator rights on it and i cant access certain programes can anybody help im not a computer wiz so please in plain english................

doubt anyone will give you info on this one, we have no way of knowing if the laptop is yours, we don't know you and you have only just joined us mate, never know someone might take the chance and give you the info.
