Sky Dish

I have just been given a sky dish and box which i want to install to use the new freesat from sky, is their anyway of telling if i have positioned the dish in the correct position on my wall.

Any advise would be appeaciated

I have installed a system for my mother, I ran the cable in, mount the dish, attached the box to the tv then go in the menu, from memory you press 01 select to get in a hidden engineers menu to see signal strength and quality (some one please correct this if incorrect) once this is showing on your tv screen then go back out side leaving someone watching the screen and take note of the position of other dishes close to where are and move the dish to what you think best matches the others in your area. Check signal strength / quality and adjust dish to obtain strongest reception remember only move the dish a fraction at a time.
